About Red Light Management: Founded in Charlottesville in 1991 by Coran Capshaw, Red Light Management has grown into the world’s largest independent music management company, representing globally recognized artists including Dave Matthews Band, Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, Chris Stapleton, Sabrina Carpenter, ODESZA, The Strokes, and Phish. Guided by the same entrepreneurial spirit that shapes its work in music, Red Light extends its impact beyond the industry through touring, commerce, and artist-driven philanthropy—helping build stronger communities alongside sustainable creative careers.
That spirit is central to Red Light’s role in Charlottesville’s transformative affordable housing efforts. In partnership with the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA), the Public Housing Association of Residents (PHAR), the Bama Works Fund of Dave Matthews Band, Riverbend Development, Castle Development Partners, Greenwood Homes, and the Virginia Community Development Corporation, Red Light is part of the Affordable Housing Group, working to rebuild and reimagine housing across the city. Through the Affordable Housing Opportunity Fund (AHOF)—launched with a catalytic $5 million gift and now reaching its $30 million goal—this collaboration is leveraging public funding to unlock approximately $200 million in new affordable housing, with a resident-led approach ensuring development reflects the needs and vision of the community.
About Greenwood Homes: Founded in 2021, Greenwood Homes builds high-quality homes and communities across Virginia and North Carolina, with a focus on exceptional design, energy efficiency, and durable craftsmanship.
