Black Ambition, a non-profit organization founded by Pharrell Williams in 2020, is dedicated to closing the wealth and opportunity gap faced by underrepresented entrepreneurs in the U.S, and abroad. Through prize competitions and bespoke founder programming, Black Ambition provides underrepresented entrepreneurs with capital, coaching, community, rich training content and care. Since its inception, Black Ambition has awarded approximately $14 million to 157 startup founders, who have collectively raised more than $290 million in capital. Black Ambition has been recognized for its impact on closing gaps in entrepreneurship by media outlets such as Forbes, BET, Essence, RealLeaders, and Fast Company.
