About me
Tom Balmer serves as the Board Chair for Love INC (In the Name of Christ) of Charlottesville / Albemarle. A native of Pennsylvania and graduate of Penn State, he had a forty-year career managing DC-based non-profits related to food and agriculture prior to relocating to the local area in 2018. Fully committed to Love INC's mission of "Helping Churches Help People", he has helped to guide the 35-year old organization to a new level of service and support for the region's diverse church community. Tom is a member of Church of the Good Shepherd in the Belmont neighborhood.
