About me
Tim has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, early-stage startups, and angel investing. Tim has placed himself at the center of Hampton Roads’ entrepreneurial and innovation community. He is the Executive Director of Innovate Hampton Roads, an organization that celebrates regional entrepreneurial and innovation efforts through storytelling. Under the Innovate Hampton Roads umbrella, Tim serves as the Director for REaKTOR, the City of Hampton’s Technology Innovation Center, and the Program Director of Start Peninsula, the region’s longest-running business validation platform. Tim is also the co-host of the Fervent Four Show, a podcast dedicated to startups and innovation around Virginia.
Tim is also an active angel investor, backing more than 30 startups from pre-seed to pre-IPO. Tim has an MBA from William and Mary. As an avid runner, Tim has ran an average of 6 miles every single day since June 6, 2014. He is a 10x marathoner, including the 2021 and 2022 Boston Marathons.
