Terry Tyree is a compassionate community leader, peer recovery specialist, and entrepreneur dedicated to building resilience, healing, and opportunity in Central Virginia. She is the founder and owner of Charlottesville Community Resilience Center and Terry’s Tiny Treasures Resiliency Pathways, two organizations focused on trauma-informed care, youth development, and community empowerment. Through these initiatives, Terry creates safe, supportive spaces where individuals and families can grow, heal, and thrive.
With a strong background in public housing advocacy, grassroots organizing, and early childhood education, Terry brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She is actively involved in civic engagement, policy advocacy, and leadership development through partnerships and community outreach. Currently pursuing certificates in Early Childhood Development and Human Services at Piedmont Virginia Community College, Terry continues to expand her impact through education, service, and innovative programming that strengthens communities from the ground up.
