About me
Tanish Gupta is a fourth-year student from Hagerstown, Maryland and a Global Commerce Scholar in the McIntire School of Commerce. He is president of Virginia Case Club, a McIntire-affiliated club focused on training underclassmen to participate in case competitions and learn about careers in business. At VCC, he's aimed to build stronger ties with employers, hosted case competitions open to all UVA students, and created a stronger club culture.
Outside of Virginia Case Club. He is involved in the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, where he was previously Vice President. As Vice President, he invited many speakers to Grounds, including a former Prime Minister of Palestine and Jim Gilmore, the former Governor of Virginia. Outside of college, you'll see him playing pickleball, trying new restaurants in Charlottesville, talking about housing policy, or reading on Substack. After graduation, he is working as a consultant at Bain and Company in their Atlanta office.
