About me
Sunnie has over 20 years of Defense and Intelligence experience building and leading science and engineering technical teams. As a U.S. Army civilian at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) she managed MASINT and GEOINT programs for research and operationalization of remote sensing. As Chief Scientist for a large contractor she developed capabilities in unmanned aerial payloads and automated target recognition for U.S. Army DEVCOM and space-based ISR capabilities for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). She continues to research methods high end commercial remote sensing solutions, transition of technologies and discovery of new application spaces particularly in the biomedical sectors. Sunnie is active in her local community serving on boards and committees in Orange County, Virginia.
