About me
Ross Efaw is a cannabis entrepreneur and the co-founder of Greener Things, a leading cannabis and hemp wellness retailer based in Central Virginia. His career in cannabis began in California during the early years of the modern medical cannabis movement. At Elemental Wellness Center, one of the most respected medical dispensaries in the state, Ross worked his way up from budtender to Retail Nursery Department Manager while also serving as a marketing coordinator. Those years gave him deep experience in patient care, product sourcing, and retail operations within a rapidly evolving industry.
Ross later helped design a large-scale dispensary in Los Angeles in preparation for California’s adult-use market before joining Cannakids, an organization dedicated to helping families access cannabis therapies for serious medical conditions. There he contributed to cannabinoid formulation development, sourcing, and logistics while gaining firsthand insight into how cannabis extracts and terpene profiles can affect real patient outcomes.
After moving to Virginia in 2018 to be closer to family, Ross co-founded Greener Things with a mission rooted in wellness, sustainability, and responsible access to plant-based therapeutics. Today he is also active in cannabis policy advocacy, regularly engaging with lawmakers in Richmond to support fair regulations that protect consumers and allow small businesses to participate in Virginia’s emerging cannabis industry
