About me
Owen Brennan grew up in Lynchburg, VA and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2004 with a BA in Economics. After graduation, he spent stints living in a monastery, working as a special education and music teacher, at a small publishing company, and as a phlebotomist before joining The Haven as a day shelter supervisor in 2013. The Haven is a day shelter and housing resource center for community members experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. Since then, Owen has worked in many roles at the Haven and was the operations director from 2016 through 2024. In December 2024 he began serving as the executive director. He is married and has 4 kids, ages 1 to 10. He loves listening to and playing music.
