About me
Miles J. Davis II is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in National-level and Department of Defense intelligence leadership, national foreign policy and intelligence community policy development, resource management, and analysis. He served as a United States Army Officer and senior civilian at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. He was designated as an ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate and commissioned in the United States Army Military Intelligence Corps after graduating from Hampton University with a B.A. in Psychology.
As an active-duty U.S. Army officer, Mr. Davis served in Hawaii and Operation Iraqi Freedom, with key assignments including Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Company Executive Officer and Battalion S-2. Following his active-duty service, Mr. Davis served at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) in various roles including identity intelligence analyst, chief of staff for the Emerging and Disruptive Technologies and Middle East Africa Directorates, and North and West Africa Branch Chief.
He served six years at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) where he represented the National Intelligence Manager for Africa in over 250 National Security Council policy meetings. As the ODNI Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center Chief of Staff, Mr. Davis successfully executed a $100+ million program acquisition that was nominated by the Director of National Intelligence for the Presidential Intelligence Advisory Board Killian Award.
Mr. Davis is now the Director of the Central Virginia National Security Alliance, where he partners with federal national security leaders in the region, as well as from across the Central Virginia economic development, business, and higher education disciplines to promote national security investment in the Central Virginia region at the state and federal level.
Mr. Davis has lived in the Central Virginia region with his family for nearly 20 years, and proud to call the region home.
