About me
Marieka Walsh is the Associate Director of Client Success at Pyxera Global, where she leads the Client Success Unit and designs corporate employee engagement strategies that advance corporate social priorities—ranging from environmental sustainability to financial inclusion and health equity—while supporting business goals like talent development and retention. She oversees a $10 million portfolio of clients that collectively deploy hundreds of skills-based volunteers globally to work on projects with nonprofits and social enterprises both in-person and virtually. Previously, Marieka served as Senior Director of Operations at the Association for Enterprise Opportunity, where she oversaw operations and managed a $5 million grants portfolio that supported more than 300 underserved small business owners.
She is an active volunteer with Citizens’ Climate Lobby in Charlottesville and has led a climate-focused session at the Tom Tom Festival for the past two years. She served as a Community Health Volunteer with Peace Corps in Mozambique and as an English instructor in Georgia. Marieka holds an MPA from American University, a BA from Mount Holyoke College, is PMP certified, and earned a Sustainable Business Certificate from the University of Virginia.
