About me
Lisa O’Mara is Director of Investor Relations at Locus, a Virginia-based community development financial institution that finances affordable housing, small businesses, and community facilities. She leads efforts to raise investment capital, deposits, and grants that support Locus’s community lending. Previously, Lisa advised foundations nationwide on place-based impact investing strategies through LOCUS Impact Investing. Earlier in her career, she spent more than 15 years at the Community Foundation for a greater Richmond helping donors align their philanthropic capital with community impact. Her work sits at the intersection of philanthropy, impact investing, and community finance.
