About me
Kit Decker serves as Dean of Humanities, Fine Arts & Social Sciences at Piedmont Virginia Community College in Charlottesville. He was Professor of Spanish at PVCC for many years and also taught at the University of Richmond; he moved to Virginia in 1997, relocating from New Orleans where he completed his PhD at Tulane.
A native of Birkenhead, England and graduate of Trinity College, Oxford, he has called the US home for more than 30 years. He extends a warm welcome to all to come see the music, theater, and dance shows and revolving art exhibitions that make PVCC’s Dickinson Building such a lively, colorful and engaging place for our community to gather.
