About me
Jen Fleisher is a Charlottesville City Councilor, public health practitioner, and longtime community advocate. She currently serves a four-year term on City Council and brings a background rooted in direct community care to local governance. Jen entered public health through her work as a birth doula and women's health advocate, and went on to serve as a Program Officer for the Blue Ridge Health District, leading COVID vaccination efforts and most recently managing the district's Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan. She is also the principal of a small print design firm she has run since 2004, and she teaches health to middle school girls. Jen has called Charlottesville home since 2001, where she lives with her spouse and son.
