About me
Jason is the Project Manager for UVA’s Futures Initiative, where he leads a pan‑University working group to chart pathways for institutional innovation across research, teaching, and organizational practice, with a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration, community‑driven innovation, and translational solution‑finding.
Prior to joining in this role, Jason served as an administrator and educator at the college and high‑school levels for more than twenty years. He has taught as an adjunct instructor for UVA’s English Department and for PVCC’s English Department. Before this, he was the Director of Academics and Faculty, as well as the English Department Chair, at the Miller School of Albemarle.
Jason has been a Charlottesville-area resident for 27 years. He lives with his wife, Liz, and their son, Thomas, in Keswick.
