About me
Helen is an attorney at Legal Aid Justice Center (LAJC) in Charlottesville, VA where she works on issues involving criminal records, including record sealing and expungement. Prior to joining LAJC, Helen was an Appellate Attorney for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs where her practice focused in veterans’ benefits law. She clerked for the Honorable J. Michael Ryan at D.C. Superior Court. Helen is a graduate of Sweet Briar College (BA), University College Dublin (MA), Trinity College Dublin (MPhil), and American University Washington College of Law (JD). She is a member of the District of Columbia bar.
