About me
Heather Lyne designs and leads community and economic development initiatives that connect people, ideas, and resources. With experience in Virginia, Colorado, and abroad, she brings a background in community organizing, nonprofit leadership, and hospitality to her work. Heather holds advanced degrees in Cultural Anthropology (University of Georgia) and Public & International Affairs (Virginia Tech), and Nonprofit Management. Named one of Virginia Business’s Top 100 People to Meet in 2023 and Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2024, she’s currently leading efforts to strengthen Greater Richmond’s small business ecosystem by meeting entrepreneurs and service providers where they are and thinking outside the box.
