About me
Haley Morrisson is a Nonviolent Communication trainer and mediator based in the Charlottesville area. A former Fulbright Scholar to Germany and graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, she earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. She practiced law for nearly a decade at leading firms where she developed expertise in navigating complex interpersonal dynamics and high-stakes conversations.
Haley has pursued extensive training in Nonviolent Communication in multiple countries, studying with trainers in the United States, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands. With her background in law and global experience, Haley brings a distinctive combination of analytical rigor, cross-cultural insight, and empathic presence to her work. As a certified yoga teacher, she integrates breathwork and mindfulness practices that enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation—foundational skills that deepen the impact of NVC learning.
