About me
Geoff is a leadership and embodiment coach, somatic trauma bodyworker, and meditation teacher whose work bridges ancient wisdom traditions with contemporary embodied psychology. Originally trained as an acupuncturist and certified as an Integral Professional Coach and Integral Facilitator, he has spent the last fifteen years practicing, teaching and studying adult development, embodied transformation, somatically oriented trauma resolution, and the awakening arts. His coaching practice centers his training in Aletheia Coaching, parts work, somatic coaching, spiritual mentorship, and Somatic Experiencing. With over 20 years of training in Tibetan Buddhist practice, qi gong, and other wisdom traditions, he brings a sophisticated understanding of how to nurture spiritual discovery and integration through meditation, somatic awareness, and transformative process.
With a decade of experience facilitating retreats, workshops, and classes at the University of Virginia on meditation, mindful communication, and embodied leadership, and as a facilitator for Somara's Trauma & Somatics Practitioner Training and Embodying Somatics, Geoff has cultivated a unique capacity to guide individuals and groups toward deeper presence, resilience, and relational wisdom.
