Derek Hall, MS, is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Liquet Medical, where he leads the development of next-generation solutions for blood clots and complex vascular conditions. With a robust academic foundation in biomedical engineering and drug & device regulation, Derek began his career in global product management. In this role, he bridged the gap between engineering and clinical practice by iterating device designs to meet the precise needs of physicians. This technical mastery now serves as the cornerstone of his leadership at Liquet Medical, as the company works to personalize the treatment of vascular disease through innovative technology.
Beyond his technical expertise, Derek brings over a decade of high-level commercial experience to the executive team. Having served as a sales representative for several industry-leading medical device firms, he consistently achieved top-tier honors, including multiple President’s Club awards for sales excellence. His extensive background in upstream and downstream marketing, combined with his deep focus on vascular and cardiothoracic medicine, allows him to navigate the complexities of both product development and market adoption. Today, he leverages this unique perspective to drive Liquet Medical toward clinical and commercial success.
