About me
Brenda Brown-Grooms is the Head Pastor of New Beginnings Christian Community Church and President of the Charlottesville Clergy Collective. She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary, with additional graduate work at Vanderbilt University. Ordained by the National Baptists USA in 1991 and recognized by the American Baptists USA in 2010, Pastor Brenda was licensed in Mt. Vernon, NY. She has pastored FBC Natural Bridge and served as Assistant Pastor at Sweet Union in Roanoke, Virginia. As an experienced educator, Pastor Brenda has taught at Fisk University, American Baptist College in Nashville, and Virginia Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia.
