Nonprofits and philanthropy are essential civic infrastructure in strong, thriving communities. Together, they build trust, support participation, and connect people to the systems that shape daily life—from housing and education to public safety and economic opportunity.
This panel will explore how nonprofits and philanthropy work alongside government, private-sector partners, and community leaders to strengthen communities and help shape the civic future of our communities. Strong civic outcomes don’t happen in isolation—they emerge when organizations, institutions, and community leaders work as interconnected parts of a larger civic system. Panelists will discuss how shared investment, strong relationships, and aligned leadership across sectors help communities respond to challenges, expand opportunity, and support long-term resilience.
Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how nonprofits and philanthropy—working in partnership with public, private, and community leaders—can strengthen civic life, sustain trusted institutions, and ensure communities are equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.
