Stop by between sessions. Pitch an idea. Help shape the stories that shape Charlottesville.
Throughout the Civic Futures Summit, the editorial team from C-VILLE Weekly will host an interactive storytelling lab where attendees are invited to pitch ideas for future stories in any section of the newspaper. Between sessions, participants can share the issues, innovations, and voices they believe deserve greater attention across Charlottesville and the region.

Know a local business, project, or passion worth highlighting?
Is there a local effort or trend we should be reporting on?
What’s a story about this place we haven’t told yet?

By opening the editorial process to the public, C-VILLE Weekly joins Civic Futures in exploring how journalism can strengthen civic life — not only by reporting on change, but by listening to the people helping create it. Selected ideas and themes may help inform future coverage, extending the impact of the Summit beyond a single day and into the ongoing story of our region.
