This session brought to you by NASA Langley Research Center

For decades, groundbreaking innovations developed at NASA Langley Research Center have shaped the future of aviation, space exploration, and advanced materials. Today, many of those technologies are finding new life beyond the lab—fueling startups, enabling new industries, and accelerating the commercialization of aerospace innovation.
This interactive session at the Tom Tom Innovation Summit brings together leaders from NASA Langley to explore how entrepreneurs, researchers, and companies can collaborate with the federal government to bring cutting-edge technology to market.

Featuring insights from leaders in NASA’s Strategic Partnerships and technology transfer programs, the conversation will highlight how NASA-developed intellectual property moves from research facilities into the hands of innovators building the next generation of companies. Panelists will also discuss how partnerships between startups, universities, and federal labs are advancing aerospace research while creating new pathways for commercialization.

The session will also connect these efforts to the broader vision of the Artemis program—NASA’s ambitious initiative to return humans to the Moon and lay the groundwork for future missions to Mars. As NASA expands its partnerships with industry and research institutions, entrepreneurs and innovators have new opportunities to contribute technologies that support the future of space exploration.

Designed to be interactive and engaging, the session will feature demonstrations and prototypes of NASA intellectual property currently available for licensing and commercialization. Attendees will have the opportunity to see these technologies up close while learning how innovators can access federal research, collaborate with NASA scientists, and participate in technology transfer programs.
Topics will include:
  • How NASA technologies move from research labs to commercial markets
  • Opportunities for startups and companies to partner with NASA
  • The role of technology transfer in accelerating aerospace innovation
  • How federal research programs support emerging entrepreneurs and innovators
  • Ways founders and researchers can engage with NASA and other federal agencies

Whether you are a founder, researcher, investor, or industry leader, this session offers a rare opportunity to explore the frontier of aerospace innovation—and learn how collaboration with NASA can help turn breakthrough ideas into real-world impact.
