We’re excited to introduce the University Salsa Club, a vibrant group of dancers who share a passion for Latin dance and building community here in Charlottesville. Throughout the year, the club offers lessons in a variety of styles to students, faculty, and staff of UVA, including salsa on 1 and 2, cha cha, bachata, merengue, and so much more!
They’ll be performing a high-energy routine to “La Agarro Bajando” by Gilberto Santa Rosa, so get ready for dynamic footwork, crowd-pleasing dips and tricks, and dance sequences so dizzying, you might just need someone to catch you!
