About me
Founded in 2025 by three Charlottesville musicians, Las Guayaberas brings the smooth, irresistible grooves of traditional Cuban music to the Blue Ridge Mountains. From driving tumbaos and shimmering montunos to heartfelt boleros and playful cha-chas, the trio blends classic Cuban styles with familiar Latin and jazz favorites.
Featuring Pat Hayes on bass, Gabe Planas on piano, and Greg Weaver on percussion, Las Guayaberas delivers an intimate, rhythm-forward sound that will have you dancing in your seat — or on your feet!
